Over Ons – Luxe Vakantiewoning in Zuidwolde

YOUR MOMENT OF REST

Our Passion

A sanctuary where people can escape from everyday worries, the hustle and bustle at home or the noise of the city. A place where you come home and it feels like you are the very first guest because there are no traces left behind by previous guests. Forget for a moment what is going on in the world around you and relax in the sauna or the hot water of the Jacuzzi. For just one night or longer. And then return home reborn. That is what we grant our guests and what we strive for. In any case, everything we do in life is done with the same drive and passion. We either do it well, or we don't.

The story of

Huus An De Keienstroat

In 2019, we found our dream house on Burgemeester Tonckensstraat in Zuidwolde, complete with an attached barn. But did you know that this street used to be known quite differently? It was popularly called 'the Keienstroat', a name that really suited the village. The current name is a tribute to Marius Tonckens, who was mayor for no less than 36 years and played an important role in the history of Zuidwolde.

Our house itself also has a rich history. It was given a major refurbishment in 1980, and over the years the layout has been constantly changed. Of course, when we bought it, we couldn't wait to put our own spin on it. Being true do-it-yourselfers, we not only refurbished the house, but also transformed the attached barn into the cosy Guesthouse it is today. It was a lot of work, but every board and stone we tackled with love. We hope you enjoy this place as much as we do!
